Approval to purchase meters for Catoosa Department

SUMMARY: Catoosa Department is requesting to purchase meters that will be used mostly for the installation of new taps. The reason for the large volume is Master Meter has a Loyalty Program that allows for the return of a meter register that is between 10 and 12 years old that is out of warranty for a new meter at a reduced rate. The savings in this program is $35.16 per meter. There are currently 96 on hand that will no longer qualify for this program at the end of August, for a total expenditure of $13,817.28.
