SUMMARY: These Safariland Body Armor vests and outer carriers are to be issued to Crossville Police Department officers. GT Distributors, Inc is a Tennessee State bid contractor for ballistic vests. The Administrative Captain has obtained a quote from GT Distributors Inc. for these ballistic vests, for new K9 officers and officers whose vests are expired, in the amount of $5270. This purchase has been approved by Chief Jessie Brooks. Uniform equipment purchases are budgeted in the 2019-2020 annual budget.
