2018 CDBG Sewer Rehab Change Order 1

SUMMARY: The change order is attached and gives all unit changes. The total amount for the change order is an additional $33,940.00. To summarize the larger items: The Contractor has encountered several lines that required more point repairs than originally bid, City staff has added 8 manhole frame replacements in possible flooding areas or overflow areas and 180 feet of ductile iron line must be excavated instead of pipe bursting. It is anticipated that a final deduct change order will be present to the City Council at the end of the project but it will not be at this magnitude.
City Staff recommends the approval of Change Order #1.
