Approval of Interlocal Agreement with South Cumberland Utility District

SUMMARY: The City provides sewer services to certain joint customers who are within the South Cumberland Utility service area due to the addition of Golf Court Townhomes. South Cumberland Utility provides water to those same joint customers. The attached agreement puts a mechanism in place to enforce or cut off delinquent accounts for sewer services and cannot cut off the water to certain joint customers who hold delinquent accounts. This will insure payments by account holders.
