Approval of grant contract for engineering services for the replacement of the airport Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI)

SUMMARY: The current PAPI lights have required much maintenance during the past couple of years and have been placed out of service for several months due to the mounting of the cabinets. The City Council approved application for a grant for engineering services to replace the lights. The City Clerk requests approval of the grant contract in the amount of $36,700. The City is responsible for 5%, State 5%, and Federal funds will cover the remaining 90%.
